Alessandro Anderes-Bologna is a creator, writer, and entrepreneur whose work moves between technology, storytelling, and the arts. As the founder of AAB.nyc, he has spent nearly two decades shaping digital experiences for businesses, cultural institutions, and creative ventures. What began as a small New York studio has evolved into an international network of designers, developers, writers, and thinkers, united by a belief that imagination and technical precision are not competing disciplines, but complementary expressions of the same creative impulse.

His career has taken him across continents and industries, from his early work in Paris and Luxembourg with Vanksen Group / Caïd Productions to his role as Director of Marketing and Product Development at Cohere Communications in New York. These experiences informed an approach that values both the architecture of an idea and the experience it creates, balancing strategic thinking with an instinct for the aesthetic, the intuitive, and the unexpected.

Today, AAB.nyc operates at the intersection of digital design, cinematic production, and artificial intelligence. Its work spans immersive websites, brand development, and AI-assisted filmmaking, with projects ranging from boutique creative enterprises to major hospital systems. Among its most significant collaborations is The Informed Woman Magazine, a women’s health education platform whose YouTube channel surpassed 100,000 subscribers and received the YouTube Silver Creator Award (Silver Play Button) in 2026. Alessandro’s creative and production contributions to the publication reflect a broader interest in using emerging technologies to make complex subjects visually compelling, accessible, and engaging.

Parallel to his professional work runs an enduring literary pursuit. His three interconnected manuscripts, The Universe in an Eye, Aeternum Fluvium in Motu, and The Distance Between, explore the relationship between perception, memory, identity, and the passage of time. Moving between philosophical inquiry, poetic vignettes, and personal narrative, they reflect a fascination with the structures of consciousness and the subtle forces that shape human experience.

His writing continues through Return to the River, his Substack publication devoted to philosophy, literature, travel, and cultural observation. There, essays and narrative series such as Cocktail Reflections explore the character of places and the people who inhabit them, finding in the rituals of hospitality, conversation, and gathering a lens through which to consider history, belonging, and change. Whether reflecting on a city, a fleeting encounter, or the quiet persistence of memory, his prose seeks the larger meaning concealed within ordinary experience.

Alessandro holds a Master’s in Global Communications from The American University of Paris. Fluent in English and French, and proficient in Spanish and Italian, he brings an international perspective shaped as much by lived experience as by formal education. Beyond his creative pursuits, he is a volunteer firefighter, sailor, and avid fisherman, with a longstanding interest in philosophy, exploration, and the natural world.

Across his work, a common curiosity persists: how ideas take shape, how meaning travels between people, and how the things we create come to outlive the moments that inspired them. For Alessandro, the disciplines of writing, design, and filmmaking are different ways of approaching the same essential question: how we observe the world, interpret our place within it, and leave something of ourselves behind.
